The Prosser Plains area is a diverse valley rich in native wildlife - learn about the birds and animals who live here with Tasmanian Land Conservancy's walks and talks at Pangaea:

TLC will take you for a Bird walk, look and listen around the festival site and
an Animal ID walk, look and talk around the festival site.

Dr Cath Dickson from TLC will be talking about monitoring and management of the land and how the TLC looks after nature on our land, including the kinds of science projects they do, with a particular focus on the TLC Prosser River Reserve.

Tasmanian Land Conservancy’s vision is for Tasmania to be a global leader in nature conservation.

The TLC is a not-for-profit, apolitical, science and community-based organisation that raises funds from the public to protect irreplaceable sites and rare ecosystems by buying and managing private land in Tasmania. They conserve critical habitat for rare and threatened species and serve as safe havens for the future. They work alongside committed landholders across Tasmania to identify, protect and manage important areas on their own properties through the establishment of conservation agreements.
